1. Acceptance
By using this site you agree to these terms. The site is operated by Curious JP Tax Service LLC, d/b/a Curious JP Accounting and Tax Services LLC.
2. No advice through this site
Site content is general and informational. It is not tax, accounting, legal or financial advice for your situation. A professional relationship exists only once we sign a service agreement with you. We are not attorneys and do not provide legal services.
3. Relationship with the IRS
We are a Certified Acceptance Agent (CAA) authorized by the IRS to certify ITIN applications (Form W-7). We are listed in the official IRS ITIN Acceptance Agents directory. We are a private firm, not a government agency. Processing times and decisions are up to the IRS.
4. Your responsibilities
You must provide complete, truthful and timely information. You are responsible for the accuracy of your return, which you sign under penalty of perjury. We are not responsible for penalties, interest or outcomes caused by incomplete or incorrect information.
5. Fees and payments
Fees are agreed before services begin. Payments through Venmo, Cash App or PayPal are governed by those platforms' terms. Refund terms are set in your service agreement.
6. Third-party services
The MyTaxOffice app is operated by On-Line Taxes Inc. Google Maps, WhatsApp, social networks and payment platforms are third parties with their own terms. We do not control and are not responsible for those services.
7. Communications consent
By sending us your number you agree that we may contact you by call, SMS or WhatsApp about your request. Consent is not a condition of service. Rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out.
8. Intellectual property
Site text, design, logos and marks belong to their owners and may not be copied without permission. Third-party marks belong to their respective owners.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the site, and our total liability for any service will not exceed the fees you paid us for that service.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from misuse of the site or false information you provide.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Prince William County, Virginia.
